The first 4 limbs of yoga lay the foundation for the internal practice (antaranga sadhana). Aadil will share mythical stories behind the poses and application in day to day life.
You will learn:
• How to apply yama and niyama into your life so that your mind is calm and your nervous system is relaxed as you live in integrity with your spirit.
• Building blocks of alignment for asana and pranayama practice so that you can be safe and yet have joy and power from your practice.
• How to focus your mind so that your practice integrates all parts of you.
Please bring a mat, belt, block and one blanket. Discussion and asana.

Energetic Alignment: Align from the Inside Out

Are you looking to find inspiration and grace in your teaching or practice? Are you seeking a deeper understanding of alignment within the flow? This intensive will support an intuitive and playful approach to alignment and class sequencing, that helps you tap into your own experiences and use them in your practice and teaching.

In this workshop, you will:
• Learn to create a strong foundation from which to build simple and complex postures.
• Study the Prana Vayus (subtle winds) that direct the flow of energy in our bodies.
• Explore the internal experiences that shape alignment from the inside out, though:
- Intention
- the 8 Limbs if Yoga
- Mantra
• Discover how to sequence with knowledge of form, creativity, playfulness and alignment
• Connect with yogic principles such as ahimsa (non-harming) and svadhyaya.
Discussion, meditation and asana.
