Hip-Opening: slow and deep

all levels

Something extraordinary happens when we do hip openers!  Whether we are stiff or open, the practice of hip openers produces deep feelings of release and relief. In this class, we will work progressively through a sequence designed to dissolve tension in the hips, while building a solid understanding of how to open the hips safely so that our knees consistently benefit. We will identify specific actions in standing, supine, and seated poses that will bring relief and ease to our pelvis and hip area. Be prepared to go deep, but don’t worry! We will also explore several variations and modifications that will ensure your continued progress.

**This class has been approved by American Council on Exercise (ACE) for CECs.**
